Fox Corporation names AWS as preferred AI cloud provider

Contributed Content / Press Release April 16, 2026

Fox Corporation has announced a strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), designating AWS as its preferred AI cloud provider.

The partnership will support Fox’s direct-to-consumer platform, FOX One, by integrating AWS Elemental MediaLive, MediaPackage, and MediaTailor with AWS AI and machine learning services, including AWS Elemental Inference. These technologies aim to enable scalable live and on-demand streaming and support AI-driven features such as content enrichment, highlight generation, and personalized discovery across Fox’s news, sports, and entertainment content.

Jeff Dow, executive vice president of platform and media technology at Fox Corporation, said the collaboration with AWS will help accelerate innovation, enhance content delivery on FOX One, and streamline the media supply chain by leveraging AWS’s scale, reliability, and AI capabilities.

Samira Panah Bakhtiar, general manager of media and entertainment, games, and sports at Amazon Web Services, stated that the expanded relationship combines Fox’s content and reach with AWS’s cloud and generative AI technologies to create new methods for content creation, delivery, and monetization at scale.

The collaboration builds on a relationship between Fox and AWS that began in 2022. Previous joint projects include the launch of “Catch Up With Highlights” during the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar, which used the Amazon Media Replay Engine to publish 731 recap videos across 61 matches. In 2023, Fox upgraded its streaming infrastructure to support 4K resolution with HDR and sub-second latency. That year, Fox also demonstrated its AI and data platform at AWS Summit NY, utilizing Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Personalize, Amazon Bedrock, and Amazon Titan to serve over 300 million monthly active users. More recently, Fox deployed AWS Elemental Inference to reformat live sports broadcasts into vertical formats for social media distribution in near real time.
