CNN, Jubilee partner on town hall with James Talarico

CNN is partnering with Jubilee Media for a town hall with Democratic U.S. Senate candidate James Talarico in Texas.

“CNN & Jubilee Town Hall with James Talarico” will air Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET, with CNN anchor Erin Burnett serving as moderator.

The event will feature questions from Burnett and a live audience of Texas voters who intend to vote in the November 2026 election. CNN said the audience will include Democrats, Republicans and independent voters.

CNN has also extended an invitation to Republican Senate candidate Ken Paxton to participate in a town hall.

The event marks part of a new creative partnership between CNN and Jubilee Media, a digital media company known for conversation-based formats including “Middle Ground” and “Odd One Out.”

For CNN, the collaboration extends the network’s use of candidate town halls as part of its election coverage while giving Jubilee its first such partnership with the cable news network.

The Talarico town hall will air live on CNN and stream for CNN All Access and pay TV subscribers through CNN’s website and connected TV and mobile apps. It will be available on demand following the broadcast through CNN’s digital platforms and participating cable operators.

Jubilee will also make the town hall available on its YouTube channel after the live CNN broadcast.

Talarico, a Texas state representative, is facing Paxton, the state’s Republican attorney general, in the November election for U.S. Senate.
