Fox Sports debuted a redesigned on-air graphics package for its NASCAR coverage at the start of the 2026 season, updating elements from the scoring pylon to lower thirds. The new look, developed with Big Star, centered on bolder typography and a streamlined insert system designed to better reflect the speed and intensity of the sport.
The redesign focused heavily on the scoring pylon, which integrates driver positions and race data in real time. Executives said the format remains effective because it displays more drivers and layered data while staying readable. Automated data feeds now power many inserts, replacing manual triggers from producers.
The package separates minimal, data-driven inserts from more stylized bumpers and wipes. Inserts rely on bold type and team colors, while transitions use angled shapes, motion blur, smoke and metallic textures to suggest movement.
Updated “NASCAR on Fox” and “NASCAR RaceDay” logos extend the look across the franchise.
Fox Sports also integrated enhancements to NASCAR’s upgraded car-tracking system, enabling more frequent positional updates and expanded use of features such as the ghost car, which overlays a benchmark lap alongside a live driver. Executives said the package will continue to evolve during the season.
