Colorado CW station unveils new look

KWGN-TV, The CW affiliate in Denver, unveiled a new set, graphics and website this week.

The new look includes a new logo with a stylized “2″ in a greenish gray color. The graphics package is dominated by curved elements that often animate as part of transitions, which are repeated on the set backgrounds. Another common theme is the use of Rocky Mountain imagery as a textural background element.

  2. It's about time! Local TV made a big mistake a few years back when they took over KWGN and threw out the previous graphics package, which was much better. The logo Local TV installed looked like a small-market UPN affiliate circa 1997. Anonymous

  3. This logo is very similar to the new unvailed "WNWO," formerly, "NBC24" in Toledo, Ohio. The new WNWO and this logo are similar to Owens Corning's logo. I know stations and groups rip off logos all of the time, which does not set the station apart from the other guys. That's too bad. Wijee
