FX Group has debuted a new set for Belo owned KHOU-TV, the Houston CBS affiliate.

Electing to stay away from control room duras, the new set uses a large cityscape photo for much of the graphics on the set with frosted plexiglass in front. The cityscape makes a nice background behind the frosted plexiglass, and monitors have been added on either side of the anchor desk to add depth.

The set features a desk with two sitting and two standing positions. A large RP is behind the desk with a silver surround.

On air, the set shoots very well and appears very intimate, with warmth and depth from the goldish orange and blue colors.

You can view more photos of the set in the KHOU-TV SetStudio page.
