CBS News is running brief promo spots that starts with a close shot on a streetside construction scene that slowly pulls out to reveal a large wall with the words “Sorry for the mess. We’re working to build you a better morning.” written on it. The new spots are promoting the revamped morning news program, “This Morning,” that CBS is launching in January, replacing the low-rated “The Early Show.”

Instead of music or an announcer, the spot instead uses ambient construction sounds.
