‘Noticiero Univision’ debuts sleek modern set
Univision has debuted a sleek set for its national newscast, “Noticiero Univision.”
The newscast, based out of Miami, is similar to “Nightly” or “World News.”
The new set features a large touchscreen, sleek desk, backlit walls and multi-monitor video wall.
Overall, the set is very nice and stands out from the national newscast race. Instead of featuring wood and lots of extra gizmos, the set is honed and very well designed for its purpose. It feels like a European news set, complete with an area to walk while headlines pop up on the wall.
This modern styling is a welcome change to some of the drab national sets. The set is sleek and looks great on air.
New graphics also debuted that match the look of the set, but with a larger color palette.
The graphics used large red ribbons with golden and blue hues. The graphics could have tried a bit harder to match the set.
A full gallery of graphics is posted here and the set here.
