New Chyron graphics system integrates with TriCaster
Chyron is rolling out its ChyronIP product, a realtime HD and SD 2D and 3D graphics and character generator that integrates with NewTek’s TriCaster product, to North American users. The system boasts two full motion graphics channels that can be linked to a TriCaster via a network connection. A key advantage to this arrangement is that the graphics channels don’t require the user to utilize video inputs on the TriCaster.
Behind the scenes, ChryonIP makes use of the company’s existing Lyric Pro graphics system. Users will have access to a full suite of graphic capabilities, including 3D animation and transitions.
The new system is being touted as an ideal solution for live productions. Its ability to provide two graphics channels without using any inputs that could be better utilized for cameras or other video sources, give the product a key advantage in that arena.
