Today Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb unveiled the redecorated living room of the Dusahj family of Mahopac, N.Y., who won the makeover as part of a contest marking the show’s move to a renovated Studio 1A.

Designed by HGTV stars Andrew and Jonathan Scott, the makeover included pieces from the HGTV Home Collection and was inspired by the furnishings and decor in Studio 1A.

Although the Dusahj living room doesn’t sport a bright orange sofa, it does draw its color palette from the oranges and golds of Studio 1A.

Overall the new look is really a toned down version of Studio 1A (the furnishings are mass produced as opposed to the “Today” custom made pieces) and doesn’t have the “chic loft” look and feel that the “Today” studio was designed to look like.
