KOCO-TV, the Hearst ABC affiliate in Oklahoma City has unveiled a storm tracking vehicle.

Branded as “First Alert Storm Command,” the vehicle combines KU satellite broadcast technology, a 360-degree camera and full size monitor for live reporting, always-on mobile radar and a full range of weather measurement tools.

“First Alert Storm Command is a state of the art mobile weather lab and hyper-connected broadcasting tool that’s even more powerful because it’s under the control of an experienced meteorologist,” said Chief Meteorologist Damon Lane in a statement issued by the station. “This vehicle is another significant investment to deliver on our First Alert promise to viewers.”
