European lighting manufacturer, Kinotehnik, will introduce Practilite 604, the latest addition to its line of “smart” Fresnel lights during the 2017 NAB Show in Las Vegas.

Practilite is a bi-color, variable beam LED light and includes smart control that allows brightness and color temperature adjustments to be made via a simple smartphone app.

Lending further versatility to the series, Practilite 604 features a traditional balanced mounting fixture with full-size, 5-pin XLR DMX sockets alongside conventional DC input. DMX connectivity enables all conventional controls, including smooth dimming action from 0 to 100%.

Kinotehnik will also introduce SmartSync connectivity, a new protocol that allows multiple Practilite units to be connected in a daisy chain of DMX cables.

“Practilite 604 is an ideal choice for professionals seeking a compact yet powerful Fresnel, as well as reliability, easy set-up, and hassle-free operation,” said Kinotehnik founder Tõnis Liivamägi. “We keep pushing the boundaries for the modern, smart light.”
