Provost Studio partners with Dahooo on unique AR solution for broadcast

Provost Studio, a scenic design firm specializing in broadcast news and sports design, has formed a creative collaboration with Dahooo as a strategic virtual set design partner for the launch of the Dahooo AR Immersive Panoramic Simulation System.
Dahooo, a Chinese broadcast technology company that is a spinoff of Leyard, will showcase the new system during the upcoming NAB Show in Las Vegas.
“We are continually looking at how we can make broadcast environments more engaging for the viewer and better equipped to communicate dynamic content editorially,” said Peter Provost, president of Provost Studio “And this partnership with Dahooo and Leyard allows us to stay ahead of the curve with respect viewer engagement and emerging VR/AR technologies.”
Several virtual scenic environments designed by Provost Studio will be featured in the launch of the new augmented reality (AR) digital studio where visitors can walk thru virtual sets as a 360-degree immersive experience.
