Weather Channel pulls out augmented reality arsenal for eclipse

For the in-studio segment, which was hosted by Jim Cantore, was filmed in The Weather Channel’s studio in Atlanta.
The segment began with a wide view of the solar system, including bright teal orbits.
The studio set was visible in the background, along with monitors filled with space imagery.
The view then moved in for a closer look at just the earth and moon orbits.
Finally, an even closer view was used to show how the position of the earth and moon combine to create an eclipse, with the key parts of an eclipse labeled. At this point, the scene became overlaid with a yellow cloud representing the sunlight.
