WNEP
Jumping back to circa 2004, WNEP in Scranton, Pennsylvania, once relied heavily on orange as its primary graphics package. The selection was perhaps driven by the fact that orange is, by definition, the combination of the yellow and red found in the station’s logo (which itself is a somewhat unique color scheme).
Various shades of orange made prominent appearances in the opens, lower thirds and full screen graphics, which also made use of a 3D “16” icon, microtext elements and horizontal bursts of light.
