MSNBC also brought back a show with a familiar name — but with a different host. “On Assignment with Richard Engel” was billed as a limited run series for the summer of 2017, with foreign correspondent Engel hosting the weekly newsmagazine. For the new host, the graphics were updated to be more gritty.
