NBC News’ “Today Show” had quite a year — one that started celebrating its star anchor Matt Lauer and ended with him fired and the show without a permanent co-anchor.

On Jan. 6, 2017, “Today” celebrated Lauer’s 20th anniversary with the show with a special logo and celebrity well wishes.
