‘Nightly’ drops Olympics open, CBS, ABC anchor from Florida

“CBS Evening News” sent anchor Glor to Parkland, Florida, and also switched to a more somber musical bed that played under its new teases and open format.

In addition, CBS also used a logotype in Ridley Grotesk with thin vertical yellow lines on either side and a bold yellow box surrounding the word “shooting.”
