Memphis NBC station debuts new set

WMC, Raycom Media’s NBC affiliate in Memphis, Tennessee, has debuted a new set that mixes cool metals with warm stonework.
The set, from FX Design Group, features a row of five vertically mounted panels camera center that form a window-like video wall showcasing Memphis, which is flanked by gray columns with bolt-like accents and reveal lines.
Outside of these pillars is a vertical printed graphic with city landmarks, while the horseshoe-shaped anchor desk with internally lit elements sits in the middle of home base.
The set also features an additional storytelling video wall to the left is set in a wall that blends faux stonework with backlit graphics.
A similar stone wall is situated to the right of the studio and holds a large video panel for the weather presentation pod.
A working weather area is situated in front of a curved, printed backlit wall boasting a monotone cityscape and three additional video panels mounted on poles.
