The royal wedding invitations have gone out — and BBC America is promoting its coverage of the event.
Leveraging the invitation theme, the promo mentions that the royal wedding invitations were printed using American ink on British cardstock.
“It you don’t receive one, join us for live close-up coverage and expert commentary,” says a female British voice.
The promo’s background uses a textured paper background along with gold foil lettering — including animation that mimics ink spreading and adds ink dot accents.

Animated typography, much of its laid out invitation style, is seen throughout the rest of the spot.
