CNBC adds augmented reality to its realtime graphics arsenal

CNBC took the plunge into augmented reality thanks to its in house realtime graphics team with Brainstorm and Ncam realtime camera tracking technology.
Andy Tarabocchia, one of the network’s realtime graphics specialists, tweeted captures of two segments that leveraged the new augmented reality used to create large panels of video-wall like financial data, including one where the talent couldn’t resist showing off television magic by taking a dance “behind” one of the virtual panels.
