NBC’s “Nightly News” started off with a dramatic shot of the city with the “Nuclear Summit” logo in the lower left.


After this point, however, the network’s live shot location mostly showed a low row of city lights with towers on the right side, which, unfortunately, ended up being mostly covered by the broadcast’s standard OTS, which it relied on in favor of its normal plethora of video walls.
For much of the broadcast, it appeared Holt was essentially standing in front of a black background with a few dots of light.
