Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, was a bit of a mixed bag for the evening newscasts — NBC lead with ex-CBS chairman Leslie Moonves losing his $120 million exit package. His former network, meanwhile, lead with the potential government shutdown, but did cover Moonves extensively later in the broadcast. ABC, on the other hand, lead with weather.
