Fox Sports begins Daytona 500 promotional push

With NASCAR’s Daytona 500 roughly a month away, Fox Sports has begun its annual ad push for “the great American race.”

This year’s campaign, at least so far, dumps the previous silliness of “Daytona Day” in favor of a dramatic spot mixing key moments from past events with some of the recent winners.

The spot’s animation, which includes heavy filters and a bit of rotoscoping, uses a comic book style to promote the Daytona 500, which will be telecast February 17 on Fox and the Fox Sports App.
