Watch this promo for ‘Tamron Hall’ where she counts down to debut

In this promo for the upcoming syndicated talk show “Tamron Hall” from ABC Television Distribution, the show’s namesake host is shown walking to set while audio clips give her “story.”

At the start of the spot, Hall is shown wrapping up a phone conversation (purportedly with her mother) and then, thanks to slow motion, dramatically making her way onto set.

As she walks, audio clips include snippets about Hall’s life — including an indirect mention of losing her “Today” job and her brother’s murder.

Meanwhile, on screen, clips of crew prepping for her show are edited in, including a floor manager yelling out a countdown.

The entire “walking to set” sequence appears to be at least partially dramatized — given the highly stylized lighting and slightly-too-perfect movement of people behind her.

The spot also uses clips of Hall interacting with audience members and guests on set in a space that appears to have an orange, red and gray color palette.

“We all have a story to tell. So let’s talk about it,” Hall says on camera before exiting the frame through a pair of gray curtains.

Hall’s talk show has taken over the studio previously used by ABC’s canceled food-themed talk show “The Chew.”
