CNBC is adding an early-morning business program beginning March 23 at 5 a.m. ET.
“Morning Call,” anchored by Morgan Brennan, will focus on global market developments and key stories ahead of the U.S. trading day, the network said. Richard Carolan will serve as executive producer.
“Morning Call” will feature a panel of business leaders and newsmakers discussing overnight market activity and major developments shaping the day ahead. CNBC correspondents and anchors will contribute reporting and analysis from global markets.
“Pre-market hours are when the news of the day starts to take shape,” said David Cho, CNBC editor-in-chief. “With Morning Call, we’re doubling down on our commitment to deliver unmatched business journalism and give viewers a decisive edge before the U.S. markets open. Morgan Brennan’s expertise and global perspective make her the ideal guide to the headlines, setting the tone for the trading day.”
Brennan has been with CNBC for over a decade, recently co-anchoring “Closing Bell: Overtime,” “Squawk Alley” and the 10 a.m. hour of “Squawk on the Street.”
