NewsNation has expanded its digital programming lineup with several new podcasts and a newly constructed production studio at its Chicago headquarters.
The move follows the network’s continued push beyond traditional cable television, expanding further into platforms such as YouTube, where the network has 2.7 million subscribers.
The new programming slate includes “Hot Take with Jesse Weber,” “NewsNation’s Unreported with Meagan Medick,” “Prove it with Batya!” and “The Scoop with Paula Froelich.” The additions join existing podcasts including “Reality Check with Ross Coulthart,” “Bradley on the Border with Ali Bradley,” “Missing with Marni Hughes” and “Truth of the Matter.”
“NewsNation’s Unreported with Meagan Medick” expands on the success of “Reality Check,” which the network said ranked among the top 100 podcasts on YouTube and surpassed 100 million views since launching in March 2024. Hosted by Meagan Medick, the weekly video podcast focuses on unconventional topics including artificial intelligence, paranormal investigations and other unexplained phenomena.
The network also adds “Prove it with Batya!” hosted by Batya Ungar-Sargon, anchor of “Batya!” The live-streamed podcast features political and cultural discussions with audience participation and streams Monday through Thursday.
“Hot Take with Jesse Weber” premiered on YouTube with new episodes scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays. Hosted by Jesse Weber, the program focuses on political, legal and cultural topics in an entertainment-oriented format tied to his existing show, “Jesse Weber Live.”
“The Scoop with Paula Froelich” rounds out the lineup as a weekly entertainment podcast hosted by Senior Story Producer Paula Froelich, a former New York Post gossip columnist. The program covers entertainment and celebrity news.

As part of the expansion, NewsNation also opened a new podcast studio at its Chicago broadcast facility to support video and audio production across multiple platforms. The podcast studio includes a four-camera setup and dual microphone configuration, complementing the network’s existing operations in New York and Washington, D.C.
NewsNation launched its YouTube channel in May 2020 and has seen nearly 2 billion views since then, according to the network’s data.
