10 sets that use video walls for storytelling

9. Tim and Sid

Canadian sports show Tim and Sid has a unique array of video walls that form a sort of multifaceted video wall.

The set, from AKA Creative, use wood toned frames to create the illusion of an eclectic mix of picture frames.

Instead of canvases, however, the frames house video panels, which are used for show branding, promoting the show’s social media, storytelling and remote tosses.

10. KCBS

KCBS, the CBS O&O in Los Angeles, has a set from Broadcast Design International that makes heavy use of video walls.

The largest video array, situated behind the anchor desk, is used to show cityscapes and skylines, but also incorporates branding and weather data on the far left and right sides during select shots.

A smaller neighboring wall is used for standups and franchise reports, with topical graphics and imagery fed to it.
