Broadcast Pix partners with NewBlue to add graphics, effects to switchers

Broadcast Pix announced this week an agreement with NewBlue, a titling and video effects company, to include its high-end CG engine in Broadcast Pix integrated production switchers.

Titler Live powered by NewBlueFX produces resolution independent 3D text and graphics, as well as motion graphics animations. Broadcast Pix will demonstrate its new graphics capabilities at the 2017 NAB Show (Booth SL9721).

Broadcast Pix with Titler’s Live CG engine includes hundreds of title styles and templates, including a variety of lower-thirds and bug options. Its built-in motion graphic animation presets make it easy to create and update complex effects, while its multi-title management workflow allows users to automatically update elements of multiple graphics with a single change.

Tightly integrated into Broadcast Pix switchers, Titler Live graphics can be selected and edited directly on the system. File names appear on the panel’s PixButtons for easy identification during productions. Graphics can also be shared through the BPNet™ cloud-based video workflow service, and are compatible with NewBlue graphics created on popular NLE and effects systems from Adobe, Apple, Avid, Magix, and more. The Broadcast Pix Rapid CG option provides a separate graphics station that automatically updates from databases, scoreboards, social media, and RSS feeds.
