WFOR-TV, the CBS owned and operated affiliate in Miami, has unveiled a new logo and new graphics, reports Florida News Center.

The new logo includes a simplified numeral “4” but retains the “wave” found under it. In many cases, the logo is used in a single color, either white or dark blue, but there are also instances that include a more teal-toned wave, which is a nice connection to the old look.

Overall, the new graphics are similar to those seen at other CBS O&O stations, namely KYW-TV in Philadelphia. This package, however, is slightly darker, lacks some of the warmer tones found in KYW’s and some of the 3D elements appear bit more sharp-edged. Many aspects of the package don’t seem quite a refined as KYW’s.
