‘Countdown’ plays a similar tune on Current TV

Keith Olbermann debuted with a similar tune on Current TV.

Like his previous show on MSNBC, “Countdown with Keith Olbermann” used a remixed version of the second movement of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.

Since the work is in the public domain, Current TV had no issues bringing the same musical signature over to the show. Overall, the new theme is urgent and more upbeat than its MSNBC predecessor. Video after the jump.
