ABC rebrands election coverage

ABC News is retiring its simple “Vote (fill-in-the-year-here)” branding for election coverage in favor of the more word “Your Voice, Your Vote.”

The new branding features a red and blue logo offset with a stylized vertical bar chart. A similar treatment, but using a fever chart, is used over the year “2012,” while the ABC globe boasts the reflection of an American flag.

Overall, the look is rather simple and uninspired.

Meanwhile, NBC News continues to use its longtime “Decision 2012” branding, while CBS is sticking with “Campaign 2012.” Fox, meanwhile, seems to be waffling a bit on its election branding with its “You Decide” moniker showing up in some places, while “America’s Election Headquarters” is played up in others.
