This morning the “Today Show” used a special opening, marking its coverage of the Iowa Caucuses.
The open features a remixed version of the “Today” theme and incorporates a 3D model of the GE Building in Rockefeller Center that zooms out to a U.S. map. In addition to this change, the hosts’ names also received a special graphical treatment and a “Decision 2012” gobo can be seen projected on the studio floor in the wide opening shot.
