CNN’s annual tribute to heroes aired this past Sunday and honored individuals who made “extraordinary contributions to humanitarian aid and make a real difference in their communities.”
The show taped at the Museum of Natural History in New York City, similar to last year, in the Irma and Paul Milstein Family Hall of Ocean Life. The star studded affair featured many guests and performances, using multiple presentation points on stage.
Clickspring Design worked with CNN to create the immersive environment for the show.
The setup included a 5×5 monitor wall stage center, with large photo/graphic cubes on either side. Dramatic blue and purple lighting designed by The Lighting Design Group illuminated the environment, creating an elegant look.
