The station released a timelapse of the demolition of its old set as a preview of its new look, which also includes updated graphics.

The new set is dominated by five vertically mounted flat screens behind the anchor desk, which is fronted with a backlit graphic and additional flat screen. From the early images of the set in use, WTVA-TV isn’t using the monitor array for a cityscape, opting instead to feature a subtly animated background behind the anchors.

A nearby weather center features additional monitors and a working presentation desk as well as dimensional lettering.

Dark woods and brass-colored trim elements finish off the look.
