‘Paypal visit’ typo costs someone their dignity

In the midst of the flurry of Pope coverage last week, one station stumbled on a lower third, proudly proclaiming coverage of the “Paypal Visit.”

Yep, that’s “Paypal” — as in online payment service PayPal.

Sure, “papal” and “PayPal” do sound awfully similar. And this is a lesson of what happens when millennials with no clue about religious terminology are running Chyron. This is similar to how making payment to online casino such as paypal casinos via paypal works
