WFIE, the NBC affiliate in Evansville, Indiana, uses a red box as the foundation for its logo. Inside this, the number “14” is displayed an angled, custom drawn design that includes a sharp “point” on the far right of the crossbar in the “4,” an element that is repeated to the left of the vertical bar in the digit.

The far right point allows the NBC peacock to tuck neatly into the space, while the word “News” is included, when needed in an italic blue typeface below.
