On the programming side, Fox News renamed the timeslot formerly occupied by “The O’Reilly Factor” as simply “The Factor” after its host was fired by Fox News over sexual harassment accusations.
“The Factor” was just a temporary fix, however, and O’Reilly’s departure triggered multiple programming changes over the next few months.

After “The Factor” ended, Tucker Carlson’s show “Tucker Carlson Tonight” moved to the 8 p.m. timeslot and debuted a new set in the network’s Washington, D.C. bureau. The design of this studio is similar to that of the signature Studio F in New York the network debuted in November 2016.
