ITV goes ‘theatrical’ for World Cup design, opening titles

ITV has continued this unique take throughout its coverage including its main opening titles, which begins with ballerinas dancing and a ringmaster welcoming you to the “greatest show on earth.”

The sequence continues as an updated version of Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Theme” from “Swan Lake” plays in the background as soccer imagery is intermixed with dancers, fire breathers and acrobats.
