“CBS Evening News” placed anchor Jeff Glor in front of a starry video wall background with the familiar oval Pentagon briefing room sign floating above the simple headline “Space Force.”
The network then used one of its on-set video panels to showcase Trump’s tweet — with the headline “Next battlefield” appearing in the lower third during the package.
CBS also used a small selection of straightforward full screen graphics to compare the duties of the Space Force to existing military commands, though the look wasn’t nearly as a space themed as NBC’s.
