‘GMA Day’ opens second episode sans Jerry Seinfeld

After a unique cold open on its premiere episode, “GMA Day” settled in to a more standard format for its second day.

The first and second’s episodes are essentially the same besides from the sequence featuring Jerry Seinfeld — a female announcer enthusiastically previews the upcoming stories mixed in with bouncy animation and “GMA Day” logos before a member of the audience introduces hosts Michael Strahan and Sara Haines.
