MSNBC’sMorning Joe” started off its Tuesday, April 9, 2019 show like it typically does — with a cold open of soundbites — but with an eerie twist.

The show took clips from televised interviews with Donald Trump adviser Stephen Miller and edited them together into a “mind-twisting” montage that conjures images of scary movies and dystopian societies.

In addition to making the clips black and white, the show also added static, film artifact and interference effects as well as adding “morphing” effects and made Miller’s mouth disembodied and inverting clips into negative.
