In February 2025, WABC relocated its newsroom and broadcast operations to Disney and ABC’s new home at 7 Hudson Square in New York City.

The station’s primary news studio, Studio D, was designed by Clickspring Design to support multiplatform production and reflect the ABC 7 brand, debuting on Feb. 22, 2025.

The set features a sweeping architectural layout with curved structures, circular motifs and layered acrylic panels that subtly reference the iconic Circle 7 logo.

A sculptural ceiling element above the anchor desk offers an abstract take on the logo, while programmable lighting and video walls allow for dynamic storytelling. The anchor desk, equipped with LED accents and movable components, supports both formal and informal segments. A large LED volume in the studio provides a flexible space for weather, explainers and interactive visuals.

Additional setups include an alternate studio adjacent to the sixth-floor newsroom, along with Studio 4F for “Here and Now” and “Tiempo.” Nearby Studio 4G serves as a flexible space for promos and special productions. The move is part of a broader consolidation of Disney operations in New York Ciy to the Robert A. Iger Building.
