Set design that debuted alongside new channel branding on October 31, 2016.
The new studio design has been designed to be fully flexible with standing, sitting and soft bench areas for newscasters to present from. The set features a revolutionary hydraulic “5” desk that enables the presenter to sit or stand at the press of a button, building on a tradition of innovation at C5 news that started with ‘the perch’, a versatile seating area since copied by channels across the globe.
