TRT wanted to convert their existing studio and second floor library into a state of the art studio and news department that truly reflected one of the leading Networks in Turkey. Broadcast Design International had the studio and surrounding office spaces on the second floor completely demolished to design this world class studio.

The design incorporated two completely different looks for news as well as a business/talk show set that round out the TRT programming from morning to night.

In addition an interview venue was designed to be able to give them a little more casual interview environment with another completely different look. Having the surrounding newsroom on the second floor added to the design as well as two functioning control rooms visible in multiple shots.

The flexibility of the LED video background and technology that went into this design was the highlight giving TRT a modern contemporary look and feel for years to come. BDI worked with local fabricators and consultants to truly demonstrate an international effort that everyone is proud of.
