Graphics go simple, elegant for inauguration

Many cable and broadcast networks have gone with a simple, elegant look for graphics during the inauguration coverage. NBC News, shown above, is using a subtle blended look now that does a great job of not cluttering the screen too much. It also appears that MSNBC has dropped the ticker.
CBS, shown above and courtesy of TVNewser, also has a simple white and red look that utilizes an elegant serif font.
Fox broadcast network (not Fox News Channel) has a very understated look, especially for Fox. On the cable side, however, the graphics remain pretty much the same as they always are. Image courtesy of TVNewser.
