Fire alarm interrupts ‘Nightly’

During Tuesday’s edition of “NBC Nightly News,” a fire alarm at 30 Rockefeller Center went off just as the broadcast was beginning.

The alarm continued to sound through the remainder of the broadcast — an issue NBC attributed to the fact the studio is new and the kinks of the system haven’t been worked out.
