Set back at 4 New York?

FTVLive is reporting that the debut of WNBC-TV’s new set in Studio 3C may be delayed.

“According to sources, on Wednesday when NBC O&O chief Valari Staab saw the set for the first time, she had a list of things that were wrong about it.”

This comes days after the news director and GM “provided glowing reports” of the set to employees in a monthly meeting. The set was originally slated for debut this weekend or early next week.

NewscastStudio also hears the set has a modern look similar to WABC-TV but with a small wooden desk.
