A look at notable Election Night logos from around the globe

MSNBC, meanwhile, used “Election Night 2016” as its title, with its own variation of the logo. This design uses an off-center version of the star, with the wider left “arm” allowing room for the MSNBC logo to sit atop.

The emphasis of this logo is appears to be the “2016,” which is twice the height of the two, flush right lines to the left.

Although the star being skewed to the left might appear a bit odd to some, it’s also an effective way to both balance the logo and accommodate the widest word in the logo — “Election.”
