‘The View’ at 20: A look back at its sets and logos

An update

In Season 5, the show’s set was updated to include a warmer color scheme accented, most notably, with faux glass windows with detailing that included large diamond shaped panes featuring the show’s logo.

A series of changes

In Season 10, the show switched to a streamlined design that was predominantly blue and violet with uplit accents and a glass hot topics table, a departure from the show’s previous looks, though the design still kept the appearance of a folded down table leaf.

This also began the era of the show having a large rear projection screen camera center with the set elements themselves remaining relatively monotone with lighting used to add color and visual interest.

During this period, the set included an entryway far camera right, with additional doors on either side of the screen, which was framed out in decorative columns.

The set also included the introduction of a large sectional-style sofa that could be reconfigured to seat a wide variety of combinations of hosts and guests, with the guest typically seated in the center.

Season 11 saw a shift to warmer gold tones and the return of a wood host table.

In Season 13, the show switched back to a cooler color scheme, though this time the shades were more in the teal family.

Other additions included floating panels and the show logo above the screen.
