Art installations
Studio 1A’s interpretation of the “Today” logo using suspended acrylic arranged in layers so the look of the installation changes as the camera angle change is similar to the idea of the ceiling mounted NBC peacock found in the “NBC Nightly News” side of Studio 3A.
The “NBC Nightly News” set was, like the new Studio 1A, designed by Clickspring Design.
The use of floating, glasslike elements has also been used on both MSNBC and NBC’s election coverage in the form of front-facing stars and a stacked, star inspired desk.
